Miami Children's Museum

During Soren's 7th week, my parents stayed a few extra days so that we could take Eisley to the Dino Island exhibit at the Miami Children's Museum. We planned to go in the morning for a bit, but ended up staying a large part of the day. Eisley did a great job, but, boy, was it a bit overstimulating. Lots of field trips and kids, plus the school there.

Story time. Eisley did actually pay attention, but there were other books on the table.

Cruise ship, anyone? There was this bell at the top that any kid could ring. It was SO loud.

Puppet show time with Grandma!

Remote control boats...I think Eisley will need a year or two before she gets it...at least in this setting.

The Teddy Bear exhibit

The 'special' sand table. Eisley made castles and dinosaurs with PaPa.

Checking out the fish with Grandma.

And finally, the dinosaurs.

We were coming around the corner to the meat easters and the BIG dinos. Eisley was very interested.

That is, until one of those herbivores tried to reach down for her lunch. She really was hiding behind Grandma.

The friendly herbivore.

And the meat eater.

So, Grandma is brushing the teeth and Eisley is in the mouth. So this explains why Eisley doesn't really want to brush her teeth. Okay, maybe not.

The 2 story slide in the sandcastle!

There is a huge art section with stations to try all sort of art mediums. Eisley had a ball with the poster paints.

Coloring with Grandma

There is a mini Publix with shopping carts and lots of fake food. Here is Eisley's cart.

We had a TOUGH time getting her out of there, even after they closed the exhibit down!
