To the surprise of many, we are still here waiting for this little guy to come. Today we are officially 39 weeks, but I didn't take a picture of the belly. Sorry! We did take some pictures yesterday, though, so you can get a little glimpse of the size and position of the belly. Of course, there is also the puffy face. A hopeful sign that the end is near!
We have been busy trying to check some things off the list in preparation over the past week. But I've also been trying to rest more now that my mom is here to help out. And speaking of helping out, my mom has been busy cooking and filling up our freezer--make that our new extra freezer. This time around I intend to be a little smarter and not worry about cooking so much and using a little help. Hopefully it will alleviate a bit of stress during the sleep deprivation!
Over the weekend we held out hope that we would get a 10-10-10 birthday for our little guy. We spent time hanging out with Eisley, had a date night, and even spent an hour walking at the mall on Sunday. But it became evident that things weren't going to happen for us.
Today, Stephan spent a long day at work, I rested and also decided to vacuum and steam the floors. I figured I might as well do something productive instead of just going to the gym to walk on the treadmill. Now if we can just move from the Braxton Hicks contractions to something more significant.
I usually see my doctor on Mondays, but I won't be heading her way until Thursday this week. So, there won't be any technical updates just my daily observations until then!

| I finally went along for an after dinner walk to visit the ducks. These ducks actually seem to recognize Eisley's stroller and come running! |
 |
| Although, after Eisley got her fingers a little close, she decided to let daddy do the hand feeding. |
 |
| There's still room for Eisley above my belly, but it's not so nice feeling to my back. |
 |
| I would say that the baby has dropped; however, keep in mind that my torso is very long, so low is kind of a relative term. |
 |
The closest thing we've got for a belly shot.

Let's all pray for some actual news, instead of just an update tomorrow!
