Another cold for the princess
After such a good run of updates, life sort of took over and the free time to type was greatly reduced. I realize this will happen...probably more often than I'd like.
I had my doctor's appointment on Wednesday morning and then my mom came into town that evening. That morning I thought Eisley had sounded a little funny when she woke up, but she seemed fine all day. However, that night she was clearly having sinus issues. The evening evolved into a less than peaceful one as Stephan and I experienced our first night of divide and conquer. When Soren woke up to eat around midnight, I had a really hard time getting him back down. In the meantime, we heard Eisley wake up crying, which she never does. She had a sore throat and a totally stuffed up nose. It was so pitiful. Thankfully, she did make it back to sleep and we all got at least some sleep that night.
My mom was supposed to arrive on Thursday, but decided that she would arrive Wednesday evening instead. What a difference those few hours on Thursday made, as Eisley needed a dedicated nose-blower and Soren needed to be held pretty much all day. It was quite a day. And Stephan was in an all day off site meeting where he ate some food that didn't agree with him. Add that to a sleep deprivation headache and even his boss had pity on him and let him leave the meeting early since he wasn't needed that afternoon.
By Friday, Eisley was improving, to our relief...meaning she was pleasant, but still unable to be out and about. Oh, Thank God that Grandma came in the nick of time!
