Soren is 5 Weeks

We got a new camera to take a stab at taking some pictures of Soren since our photographer didn't workout for his newborn pictures. We thought we'd just 'try' it and then return it if it didn't work out, but...we love it! Let's just say that we should have had one of these cameras when Eisley was a baby...we would have captured a lot more shots!

Here are some pictures from Soren's 5th week: 

Eisley was sick, so she got to eat lots of popsicles. Grandma even let her have one for breakfast.

Eisley loves to take pictures...unfortunately this camera didn't quite survive her  2 year old hands. (Although, she did figure out how to take the pictures and play them back to review them (her favorite part.)

Helping Daddy and Grandpa clean the patio--this kid loves the hose.

Love this look. Soren, 6 weeks

As I mentioned above, we bought the camera so that we could do our own semi-pro pictures of him.  Then my cousin's wife, Dawn, who does it professionally, was going to help us edit them. This picture is from one of my 'sessions' with Soren. Check out his chubby back!

As is typical, Soren is minding his own business and Eisley is all too eager to get close.

Joint baths were short lived. Something to do with Eisley not grasping the concept that dripping water in Soren's face was not cool.

Grandma was a real lifesaver during this time. Here she and Eisley are baking bread. Eisley LOVES getting her hands in food!
